Conflict of Interest Policy
How we work to maintain integrity and transparency
- At Novatis International, integrity and impartiality are fundamental to how we operate. We work across sectors β with international organizations, development partners, governments, and civil society β to design strategies, strengthen systems, and drive sustainable impact.
- Because we engage with diverse actors, including both funders and implementers, we are deeply committed to preventing and managing any potential conflict of interest. This ensures our guidance remains objective, trusted, and aligned with the highest ethical standards. Our approach is guided by the following principles:
- Confidentiality: We do not share any proprietary or sensitive information obtained from one client with another.
- Independence: We do not represent or promote the financial interests of any client. All analyses and recommendations are based solely on evidence and strategic merit.
- Transparency: When we work with both funders and implementing partners in the same ecosystem, we maintain clear boundaries and disclose any potential overlaps.
- Advisory Role: We act as independent advisors β not decision-makers. Our clients retain full responsibility for their strategies, investments, and implementation choices.
- No Brokerage: Novatis International does not design or run fundraising or capital campaigns, nor do we broker introductions between clients or share donor priorities, strategies, or pipelines. By upholding these standards, we ensure that every partnership with Novatis International is built on trust, accountability, and professional excellence.
